Williams joined Fathers Among Men in summer 2021 to help make a difference in the underserved male population in the region. She acknowledges the negative impacts of absent fathers in our society. She openly shares her own experience of growing up in this environment. In addition, Pamela notes seeing her male friends being involved in their children's lives makes such positive impacts and looks forward to enhancing the lives of others from her own observations and lived experiences. Williams says, "the Fathers Among Men program provides critical resources on the importance of having involved fathers being active participants with their children and other family members.".
Pamela has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Middle Georgia State University in 2015. Currently, she is continuing her education at Walden University. Pamela anticipates completing her master's degree in School Counseling in 2022 (and now has a 4.0 GPA).
Williams gained invaluable experience by working as a Behavior Health Specialist at the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia, where she became a certified Peer Specialist. She also participated in a plus-size pageant in Atlanta in 2013. Some of her favorite music includes hits from the '90s, R&B, and you may find her dancing to some rap songs from time to time.
On any given rainy day, Pamela says she enjoys watching Disney Plus while eating a snow cone while being wrapped up in her heated blanket.

Community College and transferred to Missouri State University, where he
graduated with a bachelor of science in sociology in 2018.
Working in his capacity as a case manager, Mario says, "I enjoy it. It's my form
of giving back to my people. Education is also important to me, and I like how I
can help others come together on topics that tend to be overlooked or shied
away from by men and fathers. Changing this mindset is something we can all
be a part of.".
McClendon is also a "goal setter". He aims to reach one father a day, and in
doing so, he believes it is possible to change several generations of males as a
result. Another goal is to learn more about women and the process of
pregnancy to better educate other men on the topic, making for a better
understanding for both sets of expectant parents.
Finally, Mario says exploring
best practices for being an effective leader is also something he strives for on
an ongoing basis.
One of Mr. McClendon's favorite quotes is, "look what we have done, we took a
bad situation and made it gravy," the author is unknown.
